The core technical process of a pipe welding production line is: Uncoiling -> Leveling -> Shearing & End Welding -> Looping & Accumulation -> Continuous Forming -> Welding -> Internal/External Weld Flash Removal -> Cooling -> Sizing & Straightening -> Cutting.

Based on the welding process, it is primarily classified into two main types:

1. High-Frequency (HF) Welding Pipe Equipment:Utilizes the skin effect and proximity effect of high-frequency current to instantaneously heat the edges of the pipe blank to a molten state, achieving solid-state welding through the action of squeeze rolls. This is currently the most mainstream and efficient method for producing small-diameter pipes, such as water pipes, gas pipes, and structural tubes. It is also what we most commonly refer to as pipe welding equipment or tube mills.

2.  Spiral Welding Pipe Equipment: Coils the strip steel at a specific spiral angle (forming angle) and then performs submerged arc welding. Its characteristic is the ability to produce large-diameter pipelines using relatively narrow strip steel. It is mainly used for long-distance pipelines conveying oil, natural gas, and other high-pressure substances.

Welded pipes, due to their high efficiency, low cost, and specification flexibility, have become the “industrial skeleton” in fields like building structures, mechanical manufacturing, and fluid transport, making them an indispensable foundational material for modern industry.
