Rapid Size Change Technology

To enable rapid size changes in the sizing section, a quick-change platform system combined with a hydraulic quick-release mechanism can be employed to hydraulically engage and disengage the drive shaft.

By using a crane to swap out platform units loaded with rolls of different specifications—and utilizing the hydraulic system to connect or disconnect the drive shaft—the requirement for changing sizes in the sizing section can be met within a matter of tens of minutes.
