Tube Types

Round tubes, square tubes, rectangular tubes, primarily using round-to-square conversion technology; Ordinary irregular-shaped tubes (elliptical, octagonal, etc.) generally still require dedicated rolling mills.

II. Applicable Raw Material Materials

Suitable for: Q195/Q235/Q345 plain carbon steel, galvanized strip steel, some low-alloy high-strength steel, primarily low-carbon steel strip.

    Orders with multiple specifications, small batches, and frequent specification changes: Factories where changing multiple pipe diameters/square/rectangular tube sizes incurs high mold changeover time costs.

    Export-oriented tube manufacturers: Overseas customers have diverse specifications and small single-batch tonnage; one machine covers multiple specifications, reducing customers’ investment in multiple equipment and providing flexible order processing.

    Manufacturers primarily producing square and rectangular tubes: Using a shared mold for round-to-square tube forming ensures high-quality forming of the inner corners of the square tubes, facilitating subsequent bending, punching, and deep processing such as spraying.

    Small and medium-sized tube manufacturers: Those who don’t want to invest huge sums of money upfront in purchasing dozens of sets of rolling mills can reduce the capital tied up in mold inventory.

Not suitable for: Ultra-thick-walled and ultra-high-strength special steel pipes: Deformation pressure is extremely high, and the stress conditions of shared rolling mills are complex; dedicated rolling mills are preferred.
