The production of galvanized steel pipes is mainly divided into two types:
1. First, black pipes (ungalvanized steel pipes) are manufactured using welding equipment, and then galvanized using a zinc-replenishing machine;
2. Galvanized strip steel is used, and after being deformed by a rolling machine, the required pipe shape and specifications are produced.
Welded pipe production line equipment (for producing straight seam welded pipes)
This is the most common galvanized steel pipe production process, especially suitable for water pipes, gas pipes, structural pipes, etc.
The process flow of the galvanized pipe production line is as follows:
Uncoiler: Unwinds coiled steel strip.
Leveler: Levels the uncoiled steel strip, eliminating curling stress.
Shearing and Welding Machine: Welds the tail of one coil of steel strip to the head of the next, ensuring continuous production.
Loop: Stores a certain length of steel strip, ensuring continuous operation of the production line during coil changes.
Forming Machine: The core equipment of the welded pipe equipment. It gradually bends flat steel strip into a round pipe shape using a series of rollers.
High-Frequency Welding Pipe Unit: The most widely used, it heats the edges of the pipe blank with high-frequency current and applies pressure to fuse them.
High-Frequency Welding Device: Includes a high-frequency generator and welding electrodes/induction coils, used for welding pipe seams.
Deburring Device: Removes weld beads formed inside and outside the pipe during welding, ensuring a smooth inner wall.
Cooling Device: Cools the high-temperature steel pipe after welding with water.
Sizing Machine: Calibrates the steel pipe using precision rollers, ensuring that the outer diameter and roundness meet accurate standards.
Flying saw or flying shear: Cuts steel pipes into fixed lengths while they travel at high speed.
Outgoing conveyor: Collects and transports finished pipes out of the production line.
